EXCITEMENT was bursting at the theatre of Fermoy Community Youth Centre on Saturday last when local dance students from Mitchelstown and Fermoy collaborated to showcase their stylish footwork.

For many students, some as young as three, it was the first time they were on stage. Parents, families and well wishers filled the auditorium as each child got a chance to shine.

Starsrtuck Studios teachers Aisling and Amanda said giving students opportunities of stage experience along with positive teaching would encourage them to have a complete dance experience and a true appreciation and love for dance. And it turned out an experience not only to show what they'd learned but also to enjoy the art of dance as a creative, happy and professional activity.

And Santa dropped by to support all involved and to ensure everyone that they were on his good list this Christmas and he was very impressed with all the local talent.
