Relax and let your mower do the work - win a €2,680 John Deere robotic mower
FOR gardeners who appreciate a beautifully mown lawn, but not the work that goes with it, there is new mower that will give you the best cut with minimum effort.
Seamus Weldon Groundcare, in Killarney is the specially selected John Deere dealership covering all of Munster to stock and provide after-sales support for John Deere`s latest innovation: the new TANGO E5 autonomous mower.
Hours can be spent achieving the perfect finish to your lawn, but so much time could be saved for other valuable gardening and leisure activities.
The fully automatic John Deere TANGO E5, a tireless and intelligent state-of-the-art lawnmower, combines maximum mowing performance with minimum effort, and can cover an area of up to 1800 square metres, which is equivalent to the size of two centre courts at Wimbledon.
"The way these electric mowers work is simple. Our staff will fit an underground boundary wire which will determine the size and shape of the mowing area. Within this boundary the Tango will randomly cut the whole lawn within a specified timespan and as soon as it senses an obstacle or the wire it automatically changes direction," said Padraig Weldon, sales manager at Seamus Weldon Groundcare.
The TANGO is designed to keep "short grass short" and its frequent mowing operation helps to promote a healthy looking lawn.
It is also a mulching mower, so there is no need to dispose of grass clippings - these are recycled into the lawn, helping to provide the nutrients required to maintain good grass growth.
