A NIGHTMARE will finally come to an end for 11 residents of an unfinished estate in Terelton as it will get a €110,000 make over from the Department of the Environment.
A clearly delighted resident of An Faithin, Francis Aldworth, who brought his property in December 2007, described his estate as being like "a war zone."
There was builders rubble, no tar, no street lights as well as contaminated water and problems with the sewers.
Of the 16 houses in the estate, 11 are occupied and five are now in Nama.
Fellow resident, Adam Chappell said: "Villagers alike, can soon finally commit the perpetual suffering to history. The eyesore can be rectified and our children will safely play in the estate grounds."
