Local models on the catwalk at camogie club fashion show

THERE was a big attendance at the fashion show organised by Newtownshandrum Camogie Club at the Charleville Park Hotel on last Friday night.
Local models displayed garments from local fashion houses, Cherish, Murrays, Morans, DS Clothing, Lily's at Morans, G Boutique, Michelle Moran Ladies Wear and O'Connor Hurley's Newtownshandrum, at the event.
The models were Angie Doyle, Aoife Doyle, Beatrice Leikuca, Caroline Jones, Caitriona O'Mahony, Chloe Ryan, Christine Watson, Caludia Hudner, Eileen O'Connell, Freda Culloty, Helen Minihan, Kara Clifford, Katie O'Connor and Sophie Sheehan.
The male models were Aidan Twomey, Fergus Daly, Ian Minihan, John O'Connor, Liam Hogan, Ray O' Regan, Conor Griffin and Jack Twomey.
The comperes for the show were Linda Buckley and Lorcan Browne.
The programme notes had a welcome address from President Eileen Noonan who related that the club has been in existence since 1978 and in the intervening years had won 33 county titles ranging from u12 to senior championships. "We have represented Cork County at Feile na nGael and also won the under 16 Pan Celtic National Competition and I congratulate the players, mentors and club officers who have worked so diligently to bring success to the club," she said.
Ms Noonan also thanked the numerous sponsors of the night, the models and fashion houses who provided the garments and those who contributed prizes for their raffle, those who occupied the concession tables and everybody who attended the event.
