HAVING just stunned Leeside audiences in the more intimate surroundings of The Pavilion last Saturday night, Ireland's hottest band of 2013, Little Green Cars, have announced that their first scheduled show for 2014 will take place in the Cork Opera House.
The announcement comes after an incredible year that saw the release of their debut album 'Absolute Zero', tours of Europe and the United States, stopping off at festivals such as Coachella and Lollappalooza.
The album hit number one in Ireland and their entire Irish tour was sold out including two nights at Vicar Street and The Pavilion.
The band - known for hits 'The John Wayne,' 'Harper Lee,' and 'My Love Took Me Down To The River To Silence Me' - packed the Electric Arena to capacity at this year's Electric Picnic, where festival-goers came out in force to hear their harmonic, powerful, pop rock.
The Opera House show will be standing downstairs, seated upstairs and tickets for the March 14 gig cost €20.
