THEY came, they saw, they got their kit off.
The aptly named 'Men of Fantasy' took to the stage at the Hibernian Hotel in Mallow last Saturday night as local women in their droves took the night off and left their inhibitions at home to enjoy Women's Little Christmas.
The five-strong ensemble sent the almost 200 strong crowd of baying females into a fun-filled frenzy as they went through their risqué routine, bringing the festive season to a saucy climax for the local ladies.
The atmosphere in the hotel's function room had been building up to fever pitch prior to the arrival of the quintet of finely tuned Irish manhood, who took to the stage at 9pm to a roars of approval from the crowd.
For two hours the ensemble entertained as only they know how, leaving very little to the imagination as the whipping the willing crowd into a frenzy of excitement that had them quite literally dancing on the tables.
Marketing consultant Shane O'Connor, the man responsible for bringing the group to Mallow, said it was a night of high jinks and even higher temperatures.
"This was the first time that the Hibernian had put on a night like this. The crowd of almost 200 people was far better than we had expected and ensured there was a fantastic atmosphere," said Shane.
While there was little doubt but that the women present had a ball, Shane said that the five lads also enjoyed every minute of their night in Mallow.
"The lads loved it. After the show they even went into our nightclub. They told me that the women in Mallow are as wild as they have met anywhere else," said Shane.
"The whole night was so successful we are already planning a similar event for next year, but with and added twist," he added.
