The eighth annual Liz Lucey Memorial Run brought cyclists and classic car enthusiasts together in no uncertain style in Inchigeela on Sunday; all there to support the vital work of its beneficiary - the Marymount Hospice.

Cyclists set out under mostly glorious skies on their preferred option of three separate routes organised to provide all abilities with a great day's cycling; a 20km, 35km and 75km route .

Meanwhile, the classic car enthusiasts outdid each other in the vintage vehicle style stakes as everything from Toyota Corollas to Austin A40s, 1970s Rovers and much more made for a wonderful spectacle - all resplendent for the big occasion. The evening came to a perfect end as cyclists and car lovers danced the night away in a trad session at the Briar Rose Bar; whetting the appetite all the more for next year's Run.
