THE 10th Annual GOAL Mile takes place in Doneraile Park on Christmas morning from 10am to 12 noon.
This year GOAL Miles will be held in over 120 locations including, New York, London and Melbourne.
This is an integral part of GOAL's fundraising efforts on behalf of those in the developing world.
As well as helping with the recent disaster in the Phillipines, GOAL is currently operating in 13 other countries throughout the world.
The organisers extend a warm welcome to everyone to come along and walk, jog or run the GOAL Mile in Doneraile on Christmas morning.
The organisers would also like to thank the OPW and staff of the park for their co-operation and assistance.
THE Newmarket annual Christmas Day swim for 2013 is in aid of Pieta House, the centre for the prevention of self-harm or suicide.

THE Newmarket town 5k classic road race will take place on this Sunday, December 22 at 1pm sharp.
Race registration will take place in the James O'Keeffe Institute (IRD Headquarters Newmarket). The entry fee is €10.
There's a free baseball cap for all finishers. Prizegiving will take place in the James O'Keeffe Institute after the race. Everyone is welcome.

A children's variety show will be held this Thursday, December 19 at 7:30pm in Meelin Hall. Admission is €5 for adults and free for children. All proceeds go to St. Vincent de Paul.
Light refreshments will be served.
The closing dates for Mallow Citizens Information Office for the Christmas period will be Friday, December 20 at the end of business and re-opening on Monday, January 6.
