Four goals for Mitchelstown help them claim victory after a very close game

MITCHELSTOWN had four points to spare over Eire Og in the Rebel Og Central Co Premier (2) FC semi final at Mallow on Saturday.

The game was close all through but four goals for 'Town at vital stages proved decisive in the end.

At half time Eire Og led 1-6 to 1-4. Mitchesltown did well on the second half and goals by Mark Keane (2) and Sean O'Sullivan helped them to a close 4-8 to 2-10 win.

They now await the winner of Aghada or Bishopstown who meet Mallow in the semi-final.

The county final may be played the weekend of December 21.
