Cork and Kerry teams meet in a clash of heads
Just a few miles separate Millstreet and Rathmore so there was plenty rivalry involved when their GAA clubs emerged Cork and Kerry's lone representatives in the All Ireland Scór Finals hosted in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast last weekend.
And, compared to many a sporting battle, there was no separating the pair in the table quiz final that brought the country's top teams to the spacious location on the banks of the Lagan.
The questions came thick and fast before another seasoned combination, Monaleen from Limerick landed the outright spoils.
Taking top five positions were the Cork and Kerry hopefuls, with Millstreet fast off the mark with a team of Pat Sheehan, Liam Flynn, Jerry Doody and John Tarrant. However, Rathmore are known for their endurance, piping up the answers to finish strongly through the experience of John O'Sullivan, Dan Vincent O'Connor, Tony Moynihan and Donie O'Leary.
No date for a replay is yet confirmed but the expectations is it will be closer to home than a visit to the Ulster capital.
