There's a world of adventure in store at Ballyhass

IF you love the outdoors Ballyhass Lakes is one of the places to be this Easter.

Ballyhass now has a massive range of truly exciting activities, such as indoor and outdoor rock climbing, archery, zip wire, 'Leap of Faith', abseiling, kayaking and high ropes on the 40 acre facility.

Also this Easter Ballyhass is hosting a display of falconry. On Monday, April 1 Ballyhass will have an amazing ariel display as well as an up-close look at the magnificent owls, hawks and eagles.

Prices for the three hour display, starting at 1pm, are €15 per person and €50 for a family of four.

Ballyhass Lakes is also running an Easter adventure course starting on Tuesday for three days. For €99, participants will part take in 12 brilliant activities from 9.30am to 4pm each day, suitable for children of eight years and up.

This course is also offered As Gaeilge, where everything is the same except participants study Irish for an hour and a half each morning taught by qualified Irish teachers and all activities will be instructed As Gaeilge.
