There was a large attendance at the AGM of the Killavullen Farmers' Market held at The Nano Nagle Centre last Saturday. They reported a very succcessful 2012 depite inconvenient road works. They celebrated their 10th anniversary making it the longest running farmers' market in Cork outside Midleton, and after a well earned rest the market is due to restart on Saturday week Feb 2nd from 10.30am-1pm and on every second Saturday thereafter.
FUN EXERCISE FOR THE OLDER ADULT
The very enjoyable sessions with Shirley Lankford have resumed in the sports hall in Killavullen Community Centre on Monday mornings from 10-10.45am. Everyone will be welcome to come along, despite missing previous sessions.

Yoga continues on Mondays for beginners and on Tuesdays there are advanced classes, both 7-8.30pm; Mindfullness for Beginners led by Catherine Sutton- full residential weekend Feb Fri1st –Sun 3rd; Starting an Orchard, Wed Feb 6th 10am4.30pm; booking being taken for allotments-€100 for 400sqft, 11 month lease.

On 15/1/13 the draw in their weekly local lottery took place in Griffins Bar, Skenakilla and the numbers drawn were 4,7 and 28. The jackpot of €1,000 was not won and the winners of the lucky-dip prizes were Bessie Rea, Monanimy, seller M. Rea, Ger McAuliffe, Barretts Tce, seller J. Angland and Con O'Callaghan, Ballymacmoy, seller Garrys Bar.
The Club wishes the best of luck to Kildorrery on Sunday when they play in the All-Ireland semi-final of the JHC in Cashel.
