A CHEQUE for €12,501.00 was presented to Down Syndrome Ireland last weekend. Once again a huge thank you to the swimmers on Christmas day who raised over €9,000.

The group who organised the quiz in Boherbue raised €1,600, the wran boy group from Meelin raised €1,150 and the local Sean Nos dancers raised €555, which all put together came to a final figure of over €12,500.

It was an outstanding achievement and thanks a million to each and every one who supported the events.
