THE Mitchelstown Under 21 B footballers made their exit from the Avondhu championship when losing out to Buttevant in the semi final at Castletownroche on Saturday.

Buttevant led 0-8 to 0-2 at half time. They had a goal early in the second half and they eventually ran out winners by 1-10 to 0-5.

The parish of Mitchesltown will lead the Stations of the Cross in Corrin Hill outside Fermoy this Sunday March 30. Assemble at 2.50pm

LOURDES FUND DRAW

Mitchelstown Carmelite Lourdes Group will hold a fundraising draw at Jackie O'Brien's Tavern, Lower Cork St, on Sunday night May 4. Proceeds towards bringing the sick to Lourdes. Enquiries to Paddy 087 9488359.

BALLINDANGAN MONDAY CLUB

The club will travel to Kilcoran Garden Centre on Monday next March 31 where Mary Scally will be showing all in attendance how to plant up window boxes and pots. The group will meet at the entrance at 10.20am

The numbers drawn were 16, 25 & 36. There was no jackpot winner.

KILDORRERY COURSING CLUB

Kildorrery Coursing Club will embark on their fund raising drive this Saturday night March 29 with their social night at Sheahan's Hill Top Lounge, Kildorrery.

Music is by the Fogarty family and refreshments will be served. Admission is free and all are welcome.

On Tuesday April 10 the club will host an Easter theme floral demonstration by Eileen Boland Walsh of Wild Heather Florist at the Community Hall, Kildorrery.

Admission is €10. Refreshments will be served. There will be a raffle with numerous spots.
