IRD DUHALLOW BEALAINE FESTIVAL
As part of lRD Duhallow Bealtaine Festival there will be a Seisiún in Bruach Na Carraige Rockchapel on this Friday night the 10th of May at 8 pm with every one welcome. Admission is free refreshments will be served.
LEARN ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF ALOE VERA
A talk and demonstration on the benefits of Aloe Vera will take place in Rockchapel Community Centre on Tuesday 14th May at 8.30pm. Admission is €5 with refreshments and a raffle on door tickets.
NEW ARRANGEMENTS AT MALLOW GENERAL HOSPITAL
The Emergency Department at Mallow General Hospital has been replaced with an Urgent Care Centre. The Mallow Urgent Care Centre is made up of a Local Injury Unit and a Medical Assessment Unit with patients attending the Unit that best meets their healthcare needs. The Local Injury Unit will look after you or your child aged 5 years or over who has minor injuries such as suspected broken bone, a sprain, a facial injury, a minor scald or burn. Their staff can take x-rays and apply plaster casts and stitches. The Medical Assessment Unit can be attended if you are suffering from a recent onset of symptoms such as breathlessness, chest pain or blackouts. If necessary, your GP or Southdoc can admit you directly to Mallow General Hospital. This Urgent Care Centre is open seven days a week from 8.00am to 8.00pm. In an emergency go to your nearest Emergency Department which maybe CUH, Mercy University Hospital, Kerry General Hospital or Mid-Western Regional Hospital, Limerick.
