MILLSTREET Communiy School's Living Scenes Intergenerational Group 2012/2013 embarked on a New Year outing to Dingle. Despite fears that rain might interfer with plans for day, it turned out to be fine, if a little cold.

The day included a stop at Inch beach for an invigorating walk and a chance to collect items for use in this this year's art project.

After lunch the group headed to Louis Mulcahy's pottery workshop where they were given a tour of the building to get a glimpse of how the beautiful pieces are made, and then they had the chance to make a small pot of their own using the potters wheel.

The group continues to meet on Thursday afternoons in the Community School and they will be joined on this Thursday by new facilitator, writer and poet John W. Sexton.
