Kilbrin National School is having a Used Clothing Collection to raise funds for the School.
BOOKS may also be dropped for Recycling (No School Books or Magazines.) New and used Men's, Women's and Children's Clothing, Shoes, Belts, Handbags, Ties, Linens, Household Textiles, Stuffed Toys etc. (Any Condition Once They Are Clean) may be donated. Bags can be dropped at the School on the 1st March 2013. Recycle and support your local National School . Thank you for your support.

On Saturday the 16th of February treat your loved one to a night of karoke in the sports and social club starting at 9pm. A generous cash prize for the best singer on the night a spotprize for the best singing couple on the night. So join us in a night of song and laughter. Hope to see you there.
Kilbrin Community Council Meeting
Community council meeting on Tuesday 19th February starting at 7.30pm everyone welcome to attend should you have any ideas or concerns. On the same night at 9pm we are holding an entertainments meeting, if you have any fundraising ideas for the sports and social club and the community, maby you would like to share them at the meeting.
The GAA club would like to thank everyone who supported the Table Quiz on Friday night last, It was a great night of fun with scoring high for most teams. The winners, who had a blend of youth and experience, by a narrow margin were Donal, Aoife, Micheál Sheahan and Denis O' Connor. A great night was had by all.
KILBRIN GAA SPORTS PREDICTIONS 2013
There will also be a predictions competition based on upcoming sports events in 2013. Simply predict who you think will win each of the following sporting events of 2013. From 7 elms, Social Club, any player or club officer. 1st Prize €200, 2nd Prize €100, 3rd Prize €50 All entries and fees must be received by 10th March 2013.A Leader board will be updated quarterly on the Club website (www.Kilbrin.gaa.ie)
The lotto draw took place on Sunday night last in Seven Elms Pub for a jackpot of €4,650, Lucky numbers drawn were 5, 7, 23 and 36. There was no jackpot winner and lucky dip winners were Jamie Eustace, Curraghs, Rhys Casey, Ballybane, John D. Corkery, Corbally, Claire O' Connor, Ballybahallow, and Matt Bluitt, Ballybane.
Next draw is for a jackpot of €4,700 and for just two euro you would not want to miss the chance of winning. From the first draw in March lotto numbers will be reduced from 45 to 36.
It is not known at this stage if fixtures will go ahead this weekend due to weather conditions. Please check Duhallow notes for update.
Scoil Eoin Baiste
Kilbrin National School will be holding an open night in the school on Thursday night 28th February, from 7.00pm - 8.00pm to introduce any new pupils to the school, to view our facilities and to meet the staff.
We would be grateful if you would inform us of any new families or intending families in the surrounding area. Everybody welcome.
In the few weeks time cleaning of the graveyard will begin. We ask anyone who would like to volunteer to work just two hours 10am-12noon one Saturday in the year to help in the clean up.

All-Ireland Junior Hurling Championship Final
We commiserate with the Fullen Gaels (Manchester) team who ran Thomastown (Kilkenny) so close in the final on Sunday last in Croke Park. Adi Nash from Corbally, was a member of the Fullen Gaels team that came so close to causing an upset.
