IT'S Scriorthing time again. The step back in time scriorth this month will be held ion Lynda's, Ballinagree, on Wednesday night, January 30, at 9pm.

This is a great night's entertainment, with singing, storytelling and the craic, and of course the very welcome cupan tae, dont forget last Wed. of the month.


The cards are continuing in the School every Monday night, the following are the results of the past two weeks games:

Monday, January 7 - 1st Con Kelleher and John Healy; 2nd Michael Creedon and Asa Honosan; 3rd Johnny Twohig and Tom Sullivan.

Monday, January 14 - 1st Michael Creedon and Michael Horgan; 2nd Paddy Callaghan and Neily Lehane; 3rd Maura Twohig and Nora Mahony.


A fundraising tea party will be held in the Laine Bar on Thursday night, January 31, in aid of the Special Olympics, its being organised by Nora Casey and Gret Buckley. Table contribution is €10.

Entertainment in Ballinagree next Saturday night is in the Laine Bar with music by Martin Kearney.


The following are the results of the past two weeks Sunday night, January 13, no jackpot winner numbers drawn were 7, 13, and 35.

€50 - Dan Sullivan, Carrigulla; €20 - Mgt and Neily Lehane; John Casey; Eileen Casey and Jerry Óg .

The Jackpot on Sunday, January 20, was €1,600 the draw was held in Tigh UÍ Laoghire, the jackpot wasn't won.

€50 - Fr. John Ryan; €20 - Elsie Coakley; Chuck Spillane; Shauna Lehane, Ballinagree, and Ted O'Driscoll.

Next week's jackpot will be €1,750.
