THE Killavullen farmers will hold their fortnightly market at The Nano Nagle Centre, Ballygriffin, Killavullen on this Saturday from 10.30am-1pm.

They support local, organic and eco-friendly produce such as eggs, cheese, vegetables in season, herbs, flowers, plants, preserves, baking, bread, organic dried foods, soaps and essential oils, knitting and second hand books. Come and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, have a fairtrade cuppa, its local, its fun and its good for the planet.

Roadworks are still in place on the N72 but the road from Mallow as far as The Centre is open and you can follow the detour signs to The Nano Nagle Centre from other directions. All the stallholders and the patrons wish to send their sincere sympathy to the family of Pat Dorgan, of Ballyhooly, who died recently.

Pat was a very popular man who had a vegetable stall since the formation of this market and was sorely missed since his illness. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
