AFTER a break since their very successful Christmas market the Killavullen farmers will hold the opening market of 2013 at The Nano Nagle Centre, Ballygriffin, Killavullen, on Saturday from 10.30pm-1pm.
The main N72 road direct from Mallow to The Centre is open and for those coming from Killavullen, Castletownroche, Ballyhooly, Fermoy or Mitchelstown etc. Don't worry there are lots of signs to guide them there.
The market is held under cover with plenty free parking. So, come along and pick up the best of local products such as fresh vegetables in season, cheese, preserves, honey, baking, organic dried foods, plants, knitting etc in a friendly atmosphere and perhaps enjoy a cup of free trade tea or coffee, or pick up a book from the second hand charity book stall.
The Cork County Council's mobile van will visit Killavullen Village on Friday morning, Feb 1st at 10.30am. Prayer Meeting The monthly Mass and Prayer Meeting in honour of Our Lady, Queen of Peace will be held at The Nano Nagle Centre, on Monday next, February 4th at 8pm. Everyone welcome.

On Tuesday, January 22, the draw in the local club's weekly lottery took place in the Haven Bar and the numbers drawn were 5, 29 and 36.
