Despite the inclement weather conditions the open day on Saturday April 13 was a huge success! Large crowds made their way to Clann Aire to join with Clondrohid Community Creche & Pre-School in celebrating their 10 years of business.

Fr Anthony Wickham began the proceedings by blessing the building the childcare staff and the families that pass through it each day.

The celebrations were officially opened by very important young people - Nicole Kelleher, Jerh Kelleher & Brian Murphy (they were also celebrating their 10th year in Clann Aire). They were joined by Lauren Healy Clondrohid Community Crèche's first baby!

They cut the ribbon to get the party off to a flying start. Simple Complication provided the music all day. Some of the entertainment on the day was "Animal Road Show" which was a great attraction . Face painting, a clown, and loads of indoor games were available to the children all day! John Desmond and Matt Kelleher were flat out cooking on the barbecue and refreshments were also served & provided by the Staff of Clann Aire.

Junior A League. Clondrohid travelled to Inchigeela last Saturday evening to play the home side. In atrocious weather conditions, Clondrohid were up two points at half time having played against the wind and rain.

Inchigeela upped the tempo in the second half and were 1 point up going into injury time, but thanks to a great point by Matthew McDonagh in injury time the teams finished level, a fitting result in the dreadful weather conditions.

Friday April 19 Minor hurling league will take place between Clondrohid and Grenagh in Clondrohid at 7pm.
