Coffee for St Joseph's
TO mark Carers Week, the Duhallow Carers is hosting a coffee morning this Saturday, June 15 in the Temperance Hall, Kanturk from 11am -1pm. All proceeds will be donated to St. Joseph's Foundation.
PRACTICAL SOCIAL MEDIA FOR BUSINESS
IRD Duhallow is planning to run a practical application of social media training for businesses.
The concept is to help businesses set up a Facebook page, Linked-in and Twitter page, and understand the value of these for a business, and learn how to carry out online marketing from these mediums.
Please note, this is for people who are intending to set up, or have an existing business. A knowledge of the internet is required.

LAUGH AND LEARN CAMP
The Youth and Education Working Group at IRD Duhallow is organising literacy summer camps running on July 22 and 26 in the James O'Keeffe, Newmarket.
The camp is aimed at primary school children with learning difficulties and children will spend part of each day with an experienced literacy tutor, engaging with the TTRS (Touch Type Read and Spell Programme) as well as enjoying fun activities such as baking, art and sports.
Discounts are offered for those in receipt of a social welfare payment), however there are limited places available and these will go on a first come first served basis.
