CASTLEMAGNER will meet near neighbours Kilbrin in the Junior Hurling Championship Final on Thursday night, November 22, with throw-in at 8pm under lights in Newtownshandrum.

It's been a long time away since the county final win and we have alot of matches within quick succession recently. Its going to be a tough game against Kilbrin and we are under no illusions of just what we are up against.

The county final means nothing heading into the game and this is something that is long gone from the memory of all the players. As the conditions will be a factor it will be a case of who wants it the most and we have proven this year that we are capable of standing up to be counted when it is needed in many matches.

It may well be our last game of the year ahead of the Munster competition following the county win, which has yet to be fixed , so we are looking for a strong supporting contingent to keep the great following going for this encounter.

Please come and support the players as they go in search of another victory to add to the silverware for 2012.

GAA TABLE QUIZ

The annual Castlemagner GAA Table Quiz Fundraiser will take place in The Boreen Twist Pub, Cecilstown on Friday, November 30.

Registration will begin at 9.30pm, for the quiz to commence at 10pm. As always our wonderful Quiz Master will be the one and only Donagh Buckley. He is known for his fairness in all rounds, with a few surprises in some of the questions. It is one of the annual events that comes around with great anticipation, as the participants go in search of the elusive title.

The event is open to people of all ages. The cost per table of four is; Adults €40 , Juveniles (under 18) €20. There will be spot prizes up for grabs on the night along with the overall prize for the winners. As in previous years the event promises to be a great night of fun and entertainment.

This year the club has spent alot of money with the success of the hurlers in various competitions and will be investing heavily in the 2013 campaigns in the new year.

All monies raised will go towards the day to day running costs of the Club. From jerseys to footballs, it all adds up and we greatly appreciate your continued support of all our events on an annual basis!

We hope to see you all on Friday, November 30, in Cecilstown, for the annual Castlemagner GAA table quiz.
