Business community looks to build for the future
CHARLEVILLE CHAMBER KICK STARTS YEAR WITH SME SEMINAR

CHARLEVILLE Chamber will host a full day business conference, exhibition and networking event on Friday, Feburary 1 at the Charleville Park Hotel.
The theme of the event will be ' Working for a Better Future Together ', with participants exploring how to build success within North Cork's SME sector.
Key note speakers will include TDs Michael Noonan and Aine Collins; IBEC Chief Economist, Fergal O'Brien; Cork County Manager, Martin Riordan and Sean O'Sullivan of Dragon's Den fame.
Contributors will include Mark Cunningham from Bank of Ireland, Ray O'Connor from the IDA, Professor Patrick Fitzpatrick from UCC and other prominent industry professionals.
Each session will conclude with a Q&A session.
Issues discussed will include planned changes though public and private resources to encourage growth within the SME sector, business development and sustainable job creation.
In addition to allowing participants to share ideas and learn from one another, the conference will offer them an excellent opportunity to network and develop business contacts.
The conference is aimed at a broad target audience including entrepreneurs, the owners and managers of SMEs, financial advisors, investors, venture capitalists and start up businesses.
Chamber president, PJ McCarthy said the conference would help emphasise that Charleville was an ideal centre for would be entrepreneurs to locate their business.
