Banteer / Lyre GAA fundraiser

BANTEER/LYRE GAA are availing of Banteer Drama Group towards boosting club coffers this weekend with the hilarious comedy "Stop It Nurse".

The show is set in the men's surgical ward of a hospital which is run by the stern ward sister played by Joan Duggan who is aided by hard working nurse Holmes (Emily O'Callaghan) and the not so bright trainee Freda Ferguson (Anita Sherlock).

The play tells the story of a Kerry supporter (Jimmy Noonan) who collides with a Cork GAA supporting road hog (Seamus O'Keeffe) on his way into Pairc Ui Chaoimh for the Munster Final. What transpires must not be missed in terms of plots and humour. The play will be performed at the Glen Theatre, Banteer on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8.30pm nightly. For bookings call 029-56239.
