€6.2k raised at charity bag pack

A WHOPPING €6,200 was raised by transition year students of McEgan College, Macroom, on behalf of Build For Life (Cystic Fibrosis) and Cúnamh Bons Secours (Cancer Support).

Twenty eight transition year students recently bag packed in Dunnes Stores, Macroom, and a total of €6,200 was collected, reflecting generous support by the general public in the Macroom and surrounding area over the Christmas period.

The money raised has been donated in aid of Cystic Fibrosis and cancer care.

McEgan College, Macroom, sincerely thanks the efforts of all of the transition year students, management and staff of Dunnes Stores, Macroom, and the general public who supported this worthy fundraising effort.
