New WebActivator panel
WITH lack of skills and cost being the biggest barriers to why 50% of businesses are not online and taking their share of Ireland's online sales growth, Cork businesses can now reap the benefits of bringing cost-effective online skills to their business by accessing Cork's new WebActivator Panel.
Cork's WebActivator Panel, launched just last week, is a panel of independent web designers and digital marketers based in Cork, who excel at helping local businesses to develop their business online, and overcome the barrier of lack of skills and high costs to trading online.
Members of the WebActivator Panel are graduates of Digital Skills Academy's WebActivate Programme, an intensive eight-month online publishing, digital marketing and entrepreneurship programme which reskilled jobseekers to become self-employed web designers and digital marketeers servicing local businesses or to start new careers as digitally-skilled employees.
Members of the panel are now primed to support the online needs of businesses in Cork, providing businesses with a cost-effective way of boosting the online skills that businesses need.
