Look out for Mental Wellness exhibition

A MAJOR Mental Wellness Exhibition will be held in the Hibernian Hotel on Friday November 16. It is organised by the community based group, Lookout, formerly known as the Hope, Friendship and Peace Movement.
The event will cater for every sector of society with Minister of State with responsibility for Mental Health Kathleen Lynch attending. Speakers include Dr. Gillian O'Brien of Headstrong, Shane Williams, a Galway man who has completely recovered from a horrific accident and rap artist Garry McCarthy who uses rap and music to get across his message Stay Positive In Life.
Other contributors include Newmarket GP Dr. Bertie Daly and speakers from the North Cork HSE Mental Health Services. Local GPs will also attend as well as people from the Samaritans, Aware, CDYS, Al Ateen and many more.
The event runs from 9.30am to 10pm and all are welcome. The morning session will be geared towards students from the local schools while the afternoon and evening session are open to everyone. There is no entry fee. Contact Lookout at 087 7119799 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
