ROY O'Halloran from Donoughmore recently completed the HeadsUp Five Peaks Challenge which involved climbing the five highest mountains in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales from 31st July -3rd August to raise money for HeadsUp, Rehab's youth suicide prevention project.
Roy is pictured at the base of Northern Ireland's highest mountain Slieve Donard.
A team of 19 people took part in the challenge. "I spotted the HeadsUp Five Peaks Challenge on Facebook and signed up thinking it would be great to support suicide awareness and also give myself a challenge," Roy said.
"We really got challenged with the miserable weather and about five hours sleep over the four days but I relished every minute.
"I'd just like to thank all the people who sponsored me, the other participants and everyone involved in the organisation of the trip, for an epic adventure."
