Talented young performers take centre stage
Centre Stage School in Mallow was a hive of activity last week when it hosted six shows.
First and Second Musical Theatre classes performed 'Little Red Hen' which the young students sang from start to finish, which was a wonderful achievement for such young performers.
'Cinderella Rockerfella' was performed by both 3rd and 4th Musical Theatre classes. This show was full of high energy and thrilled all those who turned out to witness it. The students certainly put their heart and soul into the performance.
'Porridge' was performed by 5th and 6th class students. "It was a very challenging show as it was performed in the format of a pantomime," Aideen McAuliffe of Centre Stage. "However, the students the excelled in their capabilities to perform this to a very high standard. Howver, Adieen added: "As we have finished one project it is time to look forward to another".
Rehearsals have now begun for the Junior Musical of The Wizard of Oz which will take place between the 7th- 12th April. For more information visit www.centrestageschool.ie.
