Summer sessions back again

Published 12/07/2014 | 12:00

IT'S a reminder that summer time is really with us when the Fermoy Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann begins its annual summer run commencing in the Adair Hall on Monday night next July 14th at 8.30pm.

The show will continue to run on six Monday nights, ending on Monday, August 25.

This show has been running each year for over five years now and it has been growing in popularity as each year passes.

It does seem that if you attend one or two that you will keep coming back again. Patrons experience real Irish music, song and verse, the occasional bout of storytelling plus some top class dancers each night.

Refreshments are available at the interval and the admission charge of €5 with the children free make it a very affordable night out for all the family.

Neilus de Roiste is usually the "Fear an Tighe" and he will certainly keep the show moving well once it starts. If you missed it in former years then make yourself a promise to get there before August 25. For further details/booking etc contact Aileen on 086/3898162.
