Spinning Wheel is looking to reel them in with trad
CASTLETOWNROCHE is looking to offer tourists another reason to visit the town as part of the Gathering.
The village, which has seen its profile boosted by appearances on The Voice of Ireland and Operation Transformation, has now seen the launch of Irish traditional nights at The Spinning Wheel Pub Museum.
The nights are to offer traditional Irish food, music, storytelling and song in the pub which was first opened in 1791.
Tom and Norrie Quinlan are excited about their latest venture.
"We want to give our visitors an authentic experience in an intimate setting where they can enjoy Irish heritage and traditions in a very real way and feel comfortable bringing along the whole family. We want them to get involved in the evening's entertainment and we will even be getting some of them to pull their own pints," Tom said.
