Scoil Mhuire was delighted to welcome back former pupil Will Collins to give a very informative and entertaining talk to Pre-Leaving and Transition Year students last Friday.

Will completed his Leaving Cert in Scoil Mhuire in 1997 and after first studying IT he followed his dream and completed a Masters in Screenwriting in NUIG in 2006. Students got an opportunity to view Will's award winning film, 'My Brothers' prior to Will's visit. The 'hour-long' talk lasted three and a half hours, such was the students' interest in the whole area of screenwriting and film.

Many thanks to Will for coming in to talk to the students and everyone in Scoil Mhuire wishes him continued success. Transition Year student Helena Egan presented Will with a picture by local Boston-based artist Vincent Crotty who is also a past pupil of Scoil Mhuire.
