SOME colourful and unusual characters were spotted around Kilbrin Social Club last week when the cast of Kilbrin's Got Talent took to the stage to raise funds for the local GAA Club.

Sketches such as The Planning Office, Crime Busters, and Bell Ringing had the audience in stitches, while local duo Una and Donagh O'Riordan provided some great music and songs.

Chief organiser Vincent Hayes complimented the input of everybody who took part and he welcomed the newcomers to the parish who were involved for the first time in the show.

Between acts, the audience was treated to a DVD which featured some footage from the Kilbrin Tops of the Parish over the past thirty years, and plans are afoot to host a monthly evening in the Social Club where vintage video of former key moments in the parish will be screened.
