THE line-up has just been announced for this month's Sullane Sessions, the new acoustic concert series taking place in Macroom's Briery Gap Theatre.

Programmed by local musician and promoter Colm O'Herlihy, Sullane Sessions has quickly established itself as a platform for some of country's finest acts, including Katie Kim, Oliver Cole and The Shaker Hymn among others.

This month sees a selection of exciting and eclectic international acts coming to the cosy theatre in Macroom on Friday, July 25th.

Daniel Martin Moore is a musician from Cold Spring, Kentucky. On the strength of an unsolicited demo he sent in January of 2007, Sub Pop released Stray Age in October of 2008, a quietly striking album and Daniel's debut full-length.

Between the release of Stray Age and now, Daniel's been busy, touring and has shared stages with many acclaimed acts including Iron & Wine, The Swell Season and My Morning Jacket.

In May of 2012, his most recent album, Farthest Field, a duo-project with Joan Shelley, came into the world. He is currently in the studio with his band and a few other pals making a new record.

Jófríour Ákadóttir is one of the young stars of a vibrant music scene in Reykjavik, Iceland. Her band, Samaris, were just voted one of the top 11 upcoming bands in the World by Time Magazine, and critics have been hailing their new album 'Silkidrangar' as one of the best albums of the year.

Jófríour will perform a very rare acoustic performance especially for Sullane Sessions.

Jackson Dyer is a soulful singer/ songwriter from the shores of Sydney, Australia. After bidding his hometown and long-time band farewell in late 2012, Jackson embarked on a musical expedition flanked only by his guitar and songs. From Brussels to Berlin, from France to Italy, he has played on countless cobbled streets in the shade of cathedrals, châteaux and in famed folk clubs of Ireland.

From the streets he progressed to shows with the likes of Grammy-nominated Hiatus Kaiyote, a sold out tour in support of Mighty Oaks and two sold-out shows in Dublin with Irish chart topper Hozier. He released his second independent EP "White Threads" on April 13.

Theatre Bar opens at 8pm, show at 9pm. Tickets are just €10 and can be purchased in advance from Briery Gap Box Office on 026-41793 or online through entertainment.ie. For information and updates, check out Facebook.com/sullanesessions.
