CHART toppers Bell X1 are the latest high profile addition to this year's Indiependence line up.
The band, who topped the Irish album charts last week with their sixth studio album 'Chop Chop' announced that they are Mitchelstown-bound just days after their appearance Live at the Marquee.
The festival has also just announced its new Indie13 Comedy tent, which will be headlined by the bestselling author of Irish Mammy, Cork's Colm O'Regan. He'll be joined by the award-winning Gearoid Farrelly (So You Think You're Funny) and MC David Reilly. Also Adding to the laughs will be Conor O'Toole, Simon Mulholland, George Fox, Damon Blake, Edwin Sammon, Aidan Greene, Cian McGarrigle, Allison Spittle, The Glen Coco Experience, Colin Chadwick, Giles Brody, Kevin McGahern, Kevin Goldsmith, Jim Elliot and Accident & Emergency.
Other arts attractions announced include the Cork's Underground Film Festival crew, who will be showcasing some of Europe's finest award winning short films ahead of the Dare Media Underground Short Film Festival and the Spoken Word Stage, to be headlined by Irish punk poet Jinx Lennon.
Indiependence takes place on August 2, 3 and 4 and tickets are onsale now.
