MYSHALL CAMOGIE CLUB, with a star studded display, qualified for another Leinster Junior camogie final when they defeated a fancied Raharney of Westmeath in the Leinster club semi-final at Myshall on Saturday.
The Myshall girls will now meet Kilmessan of Meath in the final. It took all of Myshall's expertise and experience to hold on for a two point win in a highly charged game.
A Catherine Foley goal and points from Ciara Quirke, Allision Ruschitko and Marian Doyle enabled Myshall to lead by 1-5 to 1-3 at half time, Kate Nolan was exceptional at centre back and the whole team put their shoulder to the wheel in the second period.
Joanne Joyce playing in the goal for the first time was outstanding as she denied Raharney so many times. Ciara Quirke scored six points her mother Nuala scored one and was player of the match.
