IT WAS a night of fine style and partying on Saturday in Bagenalstown as the Carlow camogie All Ireland winning team gathered for the final time this year to collect their medals and once again embrace the glorious feeling of victory.
The county under 16 and the senior championship medals were also collected by Marguerite Nolan and senior captain Katherine Foley.
Ger Lennon represented the Carlow county board at the dinner dance and thanked the Camogie board for inviting the GAA to be a part of the night.
Camogie chairman Pat O'Brien thanked the entire crowd for coming and challenged the victorious girls to further their success in the next few years and bring Carlow camogie to Croke Park.
When the presentation was over the girls and their families and friends and even some fans danced the night away.
A huge thank you is owed to the Camogie board for such a successful year and Nuala Quirke, Linda Kenny, Mary Coady, Pat O'Brien and all helpers and volunteers are owed a huge debt of gratitude.
