We're off to the Euro's

THE BALLINABRANA man currently lining out with Accrington stanley while on loan from Pacos Ferreira always keeps a close eye on sporting events back home. Don't forget he has played in croke park with a stick in his hand and played for his country.

Ireland qualifying for Euros is my number one for obvious reasons qualifying for the first time since 88 and 02 for a major championship.

Being involved in the Portuguese Cup final against Benfica is my number two it was just an unbelievable experience to be involved. We were beaten 1-0 but missed a penalty and should have got extra time or penalties out of it, it was one of my proudest moments in football.

In third place but by no means last place was Carlow beating Louth in the Leinster Championship.

It was just a great win that lifted the whole county and an unreal fightback that put pride back into the county footballers' shirt.
