A young Carlow resident gained national attention recently when she became the cute face of a new Sport Against Racism Ireland (SARI) campaign in association with Tesco Ireland.

Two year-old Shaboo Kunnahar from Carlow town was snapped with Irish boxer Eric Donovan at the annual Tesco Mobile SARI Soccerfest which took place in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.

SARI Soccerfest works with minority communities to promote cultural integration and social development in Irish life through sport. This year's tournament was the biggest ever as 56 men's, women's and under 13 teams tackled racism, challenged discrimination and promoted dignity and respect for all.

Shaboo appears to have particularly enjoyed the day and her infectious smile has made her a hit nationwide.
