It was a great day for students of Carlow College recently as they attended their official graduation ceremony at Carlow Cathedral. A total of 255 students were joined by proud family, friends and college staff as they received the reward for all their hard work.

The qualifications received by the group included a BA in Applied Social Sciences, a BA in Humanities, a BA in English and History, a BA in Community Studies, an MA in Therapeutic Childcare and an MA by Research.

President of the College, Msgr Caoimhín O'Neill congratulated the students while presenting them with their certificates and Bishop Denis Nulty of Kildare and Leighlin prayed that 'their achievements be an encouragement and inspiration to them as they embark on the next stage of their lives.'
