LONG TIME customer Kitty Costigan from Lacken Rise on the Tullow Road had the honour of cutting the ribbon on the newly refurbished and revamped Doc Morris on Thursday.
The former Un icare chemist on Tullow Street has been rebranded and redecorated but still operates with the same staff.
At noon on Thursday the ribbon was cut and customers were treated to refreshments and goody bags.
The Carlow store is one of the last remaining Unicares in the country as all 72 stores are being rebranded under the new company name.
' There was a great turnout of customers,' said manager Maria Byrne. 'In the end it all came together really well.'
