STAFF AT Carlow's Caredoc services remembered their colleague the late Teresa Doran of Ballyhade on Tuesday when they dedicated the call centre to her memory.

53-year-old mother of three Teresa passed away suddenly on October 14 last year. She had worked in Caredoc for nine years since it first opened in 1999 and was a supervisor when she died.

'She loved her job, meeting and helping people,' said a spokeswoman for the centre. 'We held the ceremony to mark her first anniversary, as a tribute to her and as a remembrance of her work.'

A plaque was unveiled at the centre on Tuesday by management and staff including medical directors Frank Bradbury and Sean McGuire.

Teresa's family which included her husband Michael and her three children Michael, Brian and Niamh all attended the event along with her brothers and sisters.
