CARLOW-BASED website and graphic design agency, Vision Identity, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 'Best Digital Design' category in the Nokia Digital Media Awards which will be held in Dublin's Convention Centre on the 30th of March 2012.

Vision Identity developed a unique digital presentation for, a new online legal jobs hub serving the East Coast US legal sector, with offices in Carlow's Institute of Technology & Philadelphia. Co-founder, Gavin O'reilly said, ' To be a finalist is an achievement in its own right. We are delighted to be working with Vision Identity, a high calibre and real visionary web and graphics company, based in Carlow. The work John and his team have done for us is superb. I believe that in these turbulent times, where possible we should use local but think global.'

These two local entrepreneurs are going head to head with TV3 (3 player), Target Mcconnells (Guinness email marketing campaign) and the Irish arm of Leo Burnett who would have clients such as Kelloggs and RTE.

John Foy, MD of Vision Identity added, ' There has been a significant shift from traditional media to digital over the last couple of years, with most companies now recognising the value and competitive advantage that digital media offers. It is a fantastic endorsement of our work on the campaign to be shortlisted in the prestigious 'Best Digital Design' category, particularly as we're going headto-head with long established agencies Target Mcconnells and Leo Burnett.'
