TULLOW Macra group took to the stage with Macra acts from around the country at the fifth annual Capers night in Murphy Memorial Hall.

The Tullow, which represented the county, team put on a great variety show on the night and they took home prizes for the best male act and best group.

Member of Tullow Macra and County Representative Eric Driver took home the best male award for his variety of performances throughout the sketch.

'I won't be giving it all up for the stage,' he laughed. The Tullow group has been practising for the show since October. They were beaten on the night by two Cork teams, Fremont and Donaughmore.
