Members of Carlow Writers Co-operative were happy to do their bit for local charity recently as they presented a cheque for €938.78 to Carlow Youth services.

The cheque was presented by Rozz Lewis on behalf of the Writers Co-operative who donated the profits of the sale of their recently published anthology 'What Champagne Was Like' to the group.

The book was extremely well received and sold out rapidly allowing the group to make a substantial donation to their chosen charity. Carlow Youth Services were extremely grateful for the donation and thanked everyone involved in the project for their support.
