The school choir meets every Tuesday and Wednesday at lunch time for rehearsals. At the minute we are preparing for the annual Carol Service. We will be visiting the local nursing home, The Cheshire Home, near Christmas to spend an afternoon singing Christmas carols to the residents.
TRANSITION YEAR OUTING
Transition Year students attended Laughter Lounge, Eden Quay Dublin, Collins' Barracks Dublin to see the hilarious one man show "Psycho Spaghetti" by Ger Carey which observes the teenage experience. This was followed by an informative trip to The National Museum at Collins Barrack. One of the highlights was seeing the restored "Asgard" yacht which was used by the Irish volunteers to smuggle weapons and ammunition into Ireland in 1913 during the Home Rule Crisis.
