GAA JUVENILE AGM
The Tinryland Juvenile GFC AGM is scheduled for Monday 11th February at 8pm in Tinryland GAA Club House. People are encouraged to attend and get involved as it requires a community effort to cater for up 170 children ranging from Little Hoops U4 up to U16. In particular new people are most welcome to contribute and become part of a tradition, that dates back to 1888 when Tinryland GAA Club was founded.

Membership for 2013 is now due. Cost of membership is the same as in 2012. Full Membership €25; Adult Player €50 which includes insurance. Pay membership in the Bar any night after 7.30. Due to insurance considerations facilities at the club can be used ONLY by club members. Updated Membership list will be posted in the clubhouse on Tuesday of each week. New members always welcome.
The Community Games Art Area qualifying session will be held in the Tinryland Parish Hall on Friday 1st February from 5.00 p.m to 6.00 p.m. This is for all age groups from U8 to U16 Boys and Girls. Children who qualify in the area finals must be available to take part in the County Finals which will take place in the Presentation College Carlow on Saturday 9th February.

The county finals for the Model Making Competition will take place at 10.00 a.m in the Presentation College Carlow on Saturday 9th February.
The winners of the handwriting from Bennekerry/Tinryland Area 11 were as follows:
Girls U/10 - Lia Quigley, (Bennekerry) Sophia Walsh, (Bennekerry) Emer Flynn (Bennekerry). Boys U/10 - James Mahon (Bennekerry) Cillian Moore (Bennekerry) Adam Nolan (Tinryland). They went on to represent the area on Saturday the 19th January 2013 at the Presentation College, Carlow in the County Finals.
The Boys u/13 indoor soccer team took part in the County Finals last weekend. They won their first match which was aganist Graiguecullen with the score ending 5-2 which was a great win and went through to the semi-finals where they played against Borris and showed great determination and energy to win 4-2. They got through to the final where their opponents were Hacketstown who eventually proved too strong and defeated Bennekerry/Tinryland 3-1.
The team that took part to represent Bennekerry/Tinryland Area 11 were: Maurice Lawlor, Leon Woods, Adam Dunne, Sean Rourke,Dennis Farrell, Evan McGuire , Andrew Kehoe, and Marc Johnson with the trainers being Bernard Duff and Dennis Farrell
Milford Ladies Football Team will be returning to training in late January/early February for the 2013 season. VISUAL ART PROJECT
