Best wishes are extended to the following Tinryland Athletes will represent Ireland in the Home Countries Masters Internationals this weekend: Pat Byrne, Tommy Payne, Eddie Walsh, JJ Murphy and Denis Shannon. The local athletes will now compete against athletes from England, Scotland and Wales at the Internationals which will be held in the Queens University Sports Grounds in Belfast on this Saturday 10th November, commencing at 11am. Congratulations are also extended to Jamie Wall who ran a fantastic race to finish 12th in the Leinster Boys Under 16 Cross Country in Rathdrum, Wicklow and will now be part of a Leinster team for the National Championships.
Following on from the success of the recent Business/Community Forum, the Tinryland PTA are currently compiling a Business/Community Contact Directory. Parents/past pupils and community members are invited to avail of a free advertising opportunity for their business.

Presentations for all juvenile teams from Little Hoops up to U16's will be held in the Club House on Friday 9thNovember, starting at 7.30 pm. Presentations will be followed by a children's disco from 8.30 pm to 10pm. Guest speaker will be Dermot Earley, Kildare GAA, All Star winner in 1998 and 2009
Carlow GAA will be hosting an information evening on the misuse of alcohol and other drugs on Tuesday, November 6th in the Estoria, Bagenalstown from 7-30 pm to 9.30 pm, for Club Coaches, intending Club Coaches and Parents. The course will be delivered by GAA National Coordinator Colin Regan and Brendan Murphy of the HSE.
It will also include a Question and Answer session. The theme of the meeting will be positive all through. Juvenile Coaches and parents are most welcome and encouraged to come along.
