On Monday, June 16, it will be the 6th night of the Solemn Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, in St. Clare's Church, Graiguecullen. Invited Speaker on the night will be Fr. Diarmuid Hogan, Former Chaplain of N.U.I Galway, to share his journey of faith throughout his life. The Rosary begins at 7.10pm and the Solemn Novena begins at 7.30pm.

The exhibition on 'The Irish Language in Carlow from 1899 – 2014' is on view on the top floor of Carlow County Museum and will run until the autumn. All are welcome during museum opening hours and admission is free.

Irish conversation

The weekly Irish Conversation Circle in Carlow Library will meet for the last time before summer tomorrow, Wednesday, 11 June at 10.30am and will include a tour 'as Gaeilge' of the exhibition on the Irish language in Carlow which is on display in Carlow Museum. Fáilte roimh chách. The conversation circle will resume in the library in September.

Photographic Exhibition: Karl McDonough will exhibit photographs from 40 and 50 years ago as part of the Carlow Arts Festival from June 6th to 15th 10 to 6 daily at 38-43 Tullow St (behind White's pharmac).


Pop-Up Care Cafe will open on Monday, June 9th - Friday June 13th from 10am until 5pm at Bagenal Court, Carlow town (opposite the Court House).


They are looking for competitors from Bennekerry/Tinryland area to compete in Boys/Girls U8/16 in Swimming and U9-16 in Gymnastics. Gymnastics will be held on Wednesday, June 11, at 6pm in Strawhall Industrial Estate.
